Talk on the need for an 'E-Judiciary'

The students of class 9-B received a lecture on E-Judiciary by Mr. Karan Bhardwaj,  an advocate at the Punjab and Haryana High Court. The need to make judiciary more accessible and open through electronic means was focused upon. The talk was followed by a small questions session. All students participated and were truly enlightened by the invaluable info shared. Then at the end, all the students got candid for a picture with Mr. bhardwaj. It was one lecture worth remembering. Also, the cause won great support and guarantees of participation from the Carmelites. 

Intra-School Just A Minute Competition

An Intra-school just a minute competition was organised on the 14th of November, in which three students of class 9-b were shortlisted. The participants were given a topic on-the-spot and had to speak for a minute. Rachel Agnihotri won the first prize and Sanshita secured the second position. The winners were felicitated by Sister Matilda Madtha, who was the chief guest for the Literary Fest.

Self Defence By The World's No.1- Grandmaster Shifuji

The students were given the opportunity to attend a four-day, self-defence workshop under the guidance of World's No. 1- Grandmaster Shifuji. Several tactics were taught to the girls with an aim to 'Protect, Hit, Run'. Various survival techniques were also taught. The students participated with great zeal. The last day witnessed a stunt performance by Shifuji and his ever-energetic team of girls. The carmelites now are fully prepared to face the world out there!!
